INSTRUCTOR PROFILES
Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to train in the art of Taekwondo and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers, coaches, San Diego Taekwondo Association (SDTA) certified referees and also mentors. All instructors are required to maintain their expertise and achieve good outcome for our Champion Taekwondo Academy students. Our instructors are required to take classes on a regular basis to continue improving their Taekwondo techniques and teaching skills.
Master Tri Hua
Master Hua has a Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineer and currently works at SPAWAR as a Division Manager. He earned his 1st Black Belt in 1972 and he has more than 45 years of martial art experience. He has been teaching Taekwondo and coaching the CTA Sparring Teams for over 20 years. He was selected for the Best Referee in 2011 by San Diego Taekwondo Association.
Master Erik Brown
Master Brown is a 5th Dan Black Belt certified by Kukkiwon. He has 20 years of Taekwondo experience and he has been teaching Taekwondo for 10 years. He has attained mastery and devoted himself in this martial art and there’s nothing more fun and exciting in his life than sharing his skill and passing it on to our students. Currently he is studying Business Management & Korean.

Edward Hua
He is a 4th Dan Black Belt certified by Kukkiwon (Master of Taekwondo). He has 11 years of Taekwondo experience and he has been teaching Taekwondo for more than 6 years. He is the CTA coach and SDTA Certified Referee. He started competing local and California State Taekwondo tournaments since 2005 and has earned more than 30 Gold Medals for Form, sparring and Breaking. He is at the competition level.

Sansar Yogi
He is a 3rd Dan Black Belt certified by Kukkiwon. He has 10 years of Taekwondo experience and has been teaching Taekwondo for more than 2 year.

Benjamin Kim
He is a 2nd Dan Black Belt certified by Kukkiwon. He has 11 years of Taekwondo experience and has been teaching Taekwondo for more than a year. He was a local and California State Taekwondo Tournaments medalist.
